Vivo seems to be cooking up something exciting for its Y-series lineup in India. Just weeks after launching the Vivo Y19 5G with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and a massive 5,500mAh battery, the brand is now tipped to be bringing another Y-series smartphone to the country—this time with a stylish curved AMOLED display.
According to a report by 91mobiles, the upcoming Vivo handset could debut as the slimmest smartphone in the under-₹15,000 segment to feature a 3D curved AMOLED screen. While the exact name of the model remains under wraps, leaks suggest the phone will be offered in three colour options—Festive Gold, Freestyle White, and Nebula Purple. Interestingly, the Freestyle White variant is expected to stand out with a unique patterned design on the back. The device is said to measure just 7.49mm in thickness, making it one of the sleekest options in its category.
Details like the launch date, official moniker, and full specifications are still unknown. However, Vivo already has several models with curved displays in its portfolio, including the Vivo Y78 5G, Vivo Y200 Pro, and Vivo Y300 Plus, so this new Y-series phone could be positioned as a more affordable alternative.
